Law School Update:

We found out we can only afford for Alan to take one class this semester instead of 3 (which was the plan before our credit was dinged because of the foreclosure on our CO house.) Because of this, law school will take 6 years rather than the 4 years we were hoping for. He will also have to get a full time job now because we don't qualify the loans needed to pay for our living expenses, and because the business he's been trying to start hasn't taken off yet. If any of you in the Sacramento area know of any jobs in the computer programming field please let us know!

So at this point, I have to just focus on the fact that my husband will be home in the evenings a little more instead of at classes and try to have a positive attitude-- even though the pain feels sooo prolonged now! I'm sorry for being a drama queen. But Emma was 3 when we started and she'll be 9 or 10 when he finishes and passes the bar. Oh heaven help us!

Anybody Have a Rich Uncle?

So we found out that because we now have a foreclosure on our credit history, we will not qualify for student loans for these last two years of law school.

And we are 2/3 of the way through. These last 3 years of blood, sweat, and tears absolutely cannot end up being a waste. I don't know how I'd get over that. We're being tested big time, that's for sure.

Does anybody have a rich uncle?

Once Upon a Time. . .

Once Upon a Time, a birthday princess named Lesley was going to visit her friend Carli in a land far, far away called San Diego. It was after all, the Eclipse premier. Little did Carli know that her two dazzling older sisters were flying down to surprise her, as well!!!

SURPRISE!!

So the four damsels jumped up and down giggling and laughing, all the way to the theater where they stood in line for hours, waiting for the midnight show of the third Twilight film.

{Team JACOB, thank you very much. I'll take warmth over ice cold ANY day!}

The next day they escorted Carli from work where she showed them her "Mentos, the Fresh Maker" and they proceeded to a lunch at Rubio's fine dining. Then they swam in Carli's pool and Cristi fell asleep in the sun for 2 hours. Twas rough. :)

The next day, they shoppeth and walketh around the mall.

They ate at a delectable place called "California Crisp" and it was most certainly the bomb.

They also walked to a superb ice cream shop by the name of "Ghirardelli's" and happily partook of the decadence offered there.

They also enjoyed more shops and much silliness and general merriment.

The following day, they traveled to Coronado Island, a most exquisite location.

Then they proceeded to take plenty of photos next to the sea shore that were most hilarious in nature.

Shaka!

Cristi often thought of her true love, Alan, and made this lovely momento for him.

Carli often thought about how much fun she was experiencing, and she hoped it would never cease.

Lesley often thought of the hot men that were jogging by.

Cristi was feeling quite thug in this sweater and had a gangsta photo taken.

The maidens stayed up so late every night laughing and making themselves merry, that some of them needed a certain drink called "Red Bull" which apparently really does in fact "give you wings."

The maidens had their silliest moment of all on the 4 person bicycle called the Suri which they rented for approximately one hour, during which time they made very much the fools of themselves and did not care one bit.

Cristi borrowed Carli's sandals that have flames on the sides and felt most glamorous wearing them to the beach.

The maidens also enjoyed an excellent live musical performance by one band by the name of "One Republic."

Twas an amazing time had by all, but alas, all good things must come to an end.

Never shall they forget their venture of memory making and ridiculous hilariousness.
