We went tubing and boy was it a tubular time!

I pulled Gwen around in her tube and she was scared at first, but then she started loving it!

Aaron's Blessing Day!

Many family members and friends came to Lodi for Aaron's blessing. It was a wonderful day. Travis gave Aaron a beautiful blessing of health and strength, and the ability to make correct choices and gain a testimony in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. I was emotional. I was also very touched by the Bishop's awareness of Travis' family being nonmembers. He had the missionaries speak and give wonderful talks about who Mormons are and that we follow Christ and the Bible. They even had us sing Christmas songs, even though Christmas was over, because they were songs most people would be familiar with, such as Silent Night. Carli gave the closing prayer and I was emotional again.

We're so grateful for this new baby in the family! It already feels like he's been with us all along!

Christmas Round 2 at Grandma's

Grandma's beautiful tree!

Brooke lost her first tooth a couple days before Christmas. Auntie Cori helped pull it out, since she is a tooth expert. :)

Alan's sister Annie does wood burning as a side job and she's really good at it! So we commissioned her to make my dad a sign for his yard. He named their new house the "Squirrel Ranch" so this was perfect!

Home and tired after an excellent Christmas.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve we went ice skating! We had so much fun. It was seriously the most fun we'd had as a family in a long time. We were all smiling from ear to ear!

These little skating helpers were amazing. Brooke cruised around faster than any of us!

After ice skating, we went to Grandma and Grandpa's where we sat around the fire and sang Christmas carols. Then we watched the Piano Guys Christmas version of "O Come O Come Emmanuel." It was superb. It literally takes my breath away and the Spirit witnesses to me as I watch it that Jesus truly is the Christ, the Son of God, who came into the world to save us from our sins and to show us the way.

Isn't it magical!?
