Ok, I know you're all dying to know what else we've been doing during our Utah trip! So here ya go!

We took the kids to the Oquirrh Mountain Temple Open House in South Jordan, UT today! It was gorgeous and the spirit was sooo strong! I hope at least Emma and Jane were old enough to always remember it!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alan took me to "Sammy's" in Provo for my birthday! It's actually owned by our friend Sam from the Poprox!

This is Sam. He's a very cool guy.

Ryan and Christy Hodges came, too. Love you guys!

Not sure why Alan's lips look brighter than mine here but whatev-- I'm TwEnty SevEN!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Emma turned 5 on July 8th and I turned 27 on July 9th! So we had a little party for the both of us at Nana's house. Emma informed me that you have to wear a pink crown when it's your birthday so that's what we did!

Lots of fun gifts! And Emma did a GREAT job sharing with Jane and Brooke.

We gave her "Bendaroos" which she has wanted for a LONG time thanks to all the commercials on Nick Jr.

Nana got her a great two-sided puzzle she loves!

Auntie Renee came up with the fabulous idea of having the kids make and decorate their own cakes! So we had the girls, the cousins, and the neighbor kids over and it was perfect!

Brooke was VERY happy with the way hers tasted I think.

Annie's Baby Shower! It's A Girl!

Cousins: Carrie Lynn, Heather, Becca, Annie

Renee, Annie, and then me pointing to Baby Elizabeth.

Aunt DeAnne, Annie, Robin

Mema (Emily) with Annie

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

More Cooking Class! Cute mittens, eh?

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Brookie and Brucie! (We'll use this as blackmail later.)
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Happy 4th of July from too many Lindsays to count!

Grandpa Byron-- still knows how to have fun!

Alan kickin booty at volleyball!

Brooke helping Alan's cousin Heather make homemade ice cream!

COUSINS! Brad, Alan, and Jeff Lindsay

Emma quickly developed a crush on her second cousin Tyler Lindsay (Jeff's son.) While that may be legal in some states, we strongly discourage someone with the last name Lindsay to marry and then become a Lindsay again. It's just not right.

The kids kept jumping out of this box trying to scare everyone.

Painting rocks from your yard-- a fun but inexpensive activity!

*Sparklers!* These were fun for 3 minutes until Brooke had some ashes fall in her hair and burn a little of it. Yikes! She needs all she has!!!

Alan being super manly and lighting the fireworks.

We ended the night by heading over to the Manti Temple (behind them) and watching the fireworks from there. Fun times!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Alan's uncle Ken has greenhouses on his property where he grows and sells plants. Notice the signs above and below: "LINDSAY GARDEN CENTER." My claim to fame!!!

The Manti Temple where uncle Ken is a groundskeeper.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The girls have helped grandpa Byron in the garden many times during our trip. This time they were planting basil, rosemary, and other herbs.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
We are heading home tomorrow after 2 1/2 weeks of "memory making"-- as my Grandmother Lorna used to say. This has been a rare opportunity to spend a good chunk of time with Alan's family. We have thoroughly enjoyed being here and already look forward to the next time which we hope will be much sooner than later.
