School Stuff

The girls helped me make necklaces for Teacher Appreciation week!

Brooke sewed this flag for her school project. And I helped. :)

Emma got perfect attendance for the last term of school and she was on the principal's list for straight A's!

She also got a leadership award the term before that.

I also found this paper she wrote about herself for a school assignment and I think it's so cute!

Lots of fun with Ryan!

Happy 36th birthday, Alan!

Alan will be 36 next week and in honor of that, I wanted to write down some things we've experienced in the last almost 13 years of marriage.

In 13 years we've lived in 6 different states. Combined we've worked 14 different full and part time jobs, tried 2 business start-ups, served in various callings in church, recorded 4 original songs, and earned 3.5 college degrees. Most importantly, we've created 3 beautiful children who are the center of our lives. I can probably count on one hand the number of days we haven't prayed as a couple or as a family. One thing I cannot calculate, however, is the growth I've experienced being married to Alan. We've endured humbling financial blows as well as bountiful blessings. We've weathered many changes and growing pains and we've enjoyed lots of laughter. The Lord has given us a beautiful life and for that I am profoundly grateful.  I love you, Alan! Happy Birthday!

Painting

We've been having fun painting Emma's room. She's finally getting her orange room. (It's actually more of a creamsicle color.)

We've also been painting the living room and we discovered we are LOVING grey and yellow!

I am also loving Spring Time here! Emma and I have NO allergies! Plus, the saguaros have Spring flowers! Who knew?

More of my cutie

This is how we keep Ryan involved in Family Home Evening!

The girls made a "Fashion Show" slideshow on the ipad of pictures they took of Ryan in his various hats. The music they used was Josh Groban's "Starry Starry Night" and it was the cutest thing ever.
