Rachel's Temple Day

A few weeks ago we had the privilege of going with my cousin Rachel when she went to the Temple (Sacramento) for the very first time. This was in preparation for her mission to Hong Kong, China.

I was also able to be there when she was set apart as a missionary by her Stake President. The Spirit was so strong. She sat and bawled for a good 5 minutes when the blessing was over. She has an intense energy about her and an irresistible personality. I know she will be an amazing missionary.

She is now at the MTC in Provo learning Cantonese.
She leaves for China in June. We miss you already Rach!

Alan has been on Spring Break and we decided we REALLY needed a diversion from the daily grind. So it was off to Carli's house in San Diego!

Auntie Carli planned a super cute Family Home Evening where we made bunnies for Easter out of socks filled with jelly beans!

Thanks Carli and Trav for being superb hosts! It was a much needed vacation. My favorite part was laying out in the sun.
