This resonated with me because trusting that God's plans are better and more important than mine and that He does what He does because He loves me isn't always the easiest thing in the world, but is it critical nonetheless. Also, Alan has now adopted Evan's hilarious, positive self-talk, "I'm happy, I'm healthy, I'm handsome, I'm successful." He says it every day and I laugh. :)
I love seeing these kind of faith-promoting family flicks. Another good one we saw recently that we highly recommend is "Facing the Giants."

Hey Christy! I saw your comment on our blog. How fun to see YOUR family! Love the old wedding photos too!
That was a great show. Its hard to watch anything these days without offensive things thrown in where it isnt needed.
I loved this movie because I thought the portrayal of Deity was well done and the Evan was a courageous example of following God in the midst of his "appearance is everything" peers.
I liked that movie too. It's a good uplifting movie. We also enjoyed "Dan in Real Life" with him in it too.
I have been wanting to see this movie! Now I really want to!!
We loved both Bruce Almighty and Evan Almighty. They were both 'make you feel good' flicks. And there's so much truth to what you said.
