Last weekend I went with Cori, mom, and Auntie G to Deseret Book's Time Out for Women. After all, moms need time outs, too, and we had a blast! We happened to run into our life long friends Sue Earp and Angie (Earp) Francis and we had lunch together.

Cute Cori.

Doesn't my mom look a star who is going about her business trying to avoid the paparazzi?

I had such a good time. My favorite thing was hearing from James L. Ferrell, the author of my favorite book
The Peace Giver. He used an analogy to the game
Settlers of Catan and how the Lord makes a "deal" to give us more "lamb" despite our poor game playing decisions. He makes it so that we can win the game, even when we don't deserve it. So awesome! I feel so blessed to be able to have such neat experiences.

That is so awesome that you guys got to go!! Time Out for Women is coming to Philadelphia and we were going to try and drive up and go, but I have to be here for a YW overnight activity the same days... bummer! Sounds like it was great!

Great pictures and loved seeing Sue and Angie and your Auntie G!!! What a small world...Auntie G and I went to high school together and cheered for many years. We also had fun trips together to San Deigo, Disneyland and many others. Gina looks terrific, tell her I said Hi.
I have never heard of this - it sounds awesome! How fun to run into the Earps - thanks for posting a picture! I like Ferrell's analogy and I love settlers!

That's so crazy that you happen to run into the Earp's. That must have been so fun! Hey can you ask Natasha (is that Natasha Durr above me?) to send me an invite to her blog? I would love to see it. And I'll send her an invite if she'd like. When you have a minute! So glad you had a good "time-out" :)
