Christmas!

 Santa Came!
The girls were up at 6:30am and the first thing they thought about wasn't the gifts or stockings, it was whether Santa drank the regular milk or chocolate milk we left him. Turns out he ate ALL the cookies and drank the regular milk AND the chocolate milk. The girls were good this year because Santa brought a kitchen, furr real pets, and other toys and goodies.

We had Cinnamon Rolls for breakfast.

After having Christmas morning at our house, we went to Grandma Kari's.

My brother in law Travis is becoming an official Lineman Journeyman so he got lots of really cool stuff relating to that.

I got my sister Cori Ann's name for the gift exchange we had amongst the siblings and spouses, so I asked my friend Maylin to make her an AMAZING necklace with her metal stamp set. I had her make one for my mom as well. I was sooo excited about giving them.

The necklaces look a lot like this, but Maylin used some copper circles for their names and silver hearts with their kids/ grandkids names:

We got dad a hat for when he goes hunting.

And I got a CANON REBEL CAMERA that my mom and Alan went in on together for me! I was totally surprised! Alan knew I wanted one, but I didn't expect it any time soon. I'm going to take some classes at the community center to learn about lighting, portraits, etc. I am SOOO excited!

And of course, we wrote a song for our families again this year. This one is called "Rain." Click here to listen!

I hope you all had a Merry Christmas and found some time to reflect on our Savior, the true reason for the season!

SNOW TUBING in CISCO GROVE

We decided to take the girls to the SNOW while Alan had some time off for Christmas break. The first thing they did was jump in, roll around, and start making snow balls. Above: Emma throwing a snowball at Brooke.

Brooke getting ready for revenge!

We stayed the night so we could go tubing again the next day. We stayed in what they called a "motel" and it was VERY funky. I don't recommend it to anyone!
Check out Emma's face! You can see we were CRUISING down that hill!

Rolling snow balls to make a snow man, or SNOW WOMAN, as we called her.

Finally home, still enjoying wearing my hot snow bib pants!
