Me?
But wait-- I like never complain. . .
sort of.
Ok, maybe I do complain.
Fine, he's right, I mean look at my last post! Plus it's good for your soul to take inventory of all that you've been given, especially during times when you wish you had more, or think you need more. So here I go:
I'm thankful for:
*my Savior, Jesus Christ
*a good marriage with a faithful husband
*my smart, funny, loving, healthy girls
*my testimony
*moments with family and friends where I laugh so hard it hurts
*good health and my desire to exercise
*my LG notebook computer (thanks mom!)
*laminate wood flooring in my apartment that's nice looking and easy to clean
*clean water and healthy food
*the freedom of living in America
*warm sunlight
*my nice, soft, warm bed and pillow
*my reliable car and Alan's reliable car
*hot water to shower in every day
*living in beautiful city in CA, near a beautiful temple
*my clothes and shoes
*online banking
*the ability to instant message my husband at any time
*toothbrush and toothpaste (and floss!)
*my washer and dryer
*dishwasher
*smoothies
*blackberry phone with internet, maps, email, etc.
*words of the Prophets-- scriptures, general conference, Ensign, etc.
*thrift shopping bargains
*my will power to stop eating sugar
*sugar free Life Savers
*soap, shampoo, blow dryer, makeup, perfume, nail polish, etc. (And my razor-- in Tonga they cost $26 for one!)
*camera/ photography
*music
*singing with my husband
*talking to my sisters on the phone
*modern medicine
*prayer
*feeling the spirit at church every week
*priesthood blessings
*patriarchal blessings
*my contacts and glasses
*scented oils from Bath & Body Works (Moonlight Path!)
*my college education
*my wedding ring
*warm slippers and fuzzy socks
*fun workout clothes
*experience-- (Alan says no experience is bad experience if you learn something from it. I'm still trying to get on board 100% with that. . . )
*good examples in my life to follow
*access to a pool during the summer
*access to a gym
*my talents
*trials (well, I'm not quite advanced enough to say I'm thankful during them, but I can say I'm thankful after they're over!) :)
Ok, I think that's pretty good so far. I think I could go on for a lot longer, but I gotta hit the hay!
