3rd Annual Apple Hill Trip

On Friday we went to one of our favorite places-- Apple Hill! We've decided to make it one of our family traditions every Autumn. There are tons of pumpkin patches. There's a fish pond where we saw fish jumping at the rain drops that they thought were bait. Emma fed the ducks some of the homemade donuts we bought. And Brooke fed me some of them. Emma and daddy talked about life and had deep thoughts. We saw a 540 lb. pumpkin. And there were many APPLES, of course! We also bought an apple pie and some kettle corn. We wanted to go on a hay ride but it was raining a bit so they stopped them for the day. Maybe next year! It's so nice now that we live with my parents we actually HAVE TIME to go and do things as a family sometimes even though Alan is in school.

Cristi, I came accross your blog and was so excited to find you. You have a beautiful family and it was fun for me to see your sister too! Seeing pictures of California makes me miss it so. Feel free to spy on me!

Aaaaaaaawwwwwww...you passed right by us! We talked about being grateful tonight for FHE and when Madison was saying her prayers tonight she included that she was grateful for her friend, Emma, that moved away and she misses her. Hope you guys are doing well! We miss you guys!

We went to Apple Hill the next day! Fancy that! The only thing that would have made it better is if you guys were there but I am glad that you had some quality family time. Love you, Cori

How fun!!! I love Apple Hill. It's too bad it was rainy when you guys made the trip all the way up!!! Looks like you had a blast regardless! :)

That looks like it was a lot of fun and the fact that you are wearing jackets. I'm trying hard to make the girls summer clothes keep going but after 6 months they are getting a little old :)
I agree about having time to do things that you don't have time to do when you are living in your house. Since living in an apartment we have the weekends to just do whatever & not have to worry about another project that needs to be done and I am cherishing this "training" time that we have.
