Ward Campout

We decided to brave the ward with a 5 month old baby because it's Arizona, it can't be that cold, right?
Wrong!
It was freezing at night so Ryan was up many times fussing! He was trooper though. And Brooke threw up in the middle of the night all over everything. Great times!

We also did a skit with the girls and Abby to the "Snowman" song by Inside Out. We made fools of ourselves but someday has to do it!

Randoms

The girls were asking to do online subscriptions through their favorite websites and Alan made a power point presentation for them for Family Home Evening about how subscriptions can be hard to manage, etc. I laughed so hard!

I had to take a photo of all the girls' back to school supplies they had us buy!

And here's me with a drill because I like using power tools!

Cute Bubs

We gave Ryan his first solid food-- carrots. He wasn't sure how he felt about it.

We think he likes this pretty dolly.

Oregano's

We went on a date to one of our favorite places, Oregano's, in Cave Creek. We pass by it on the way to church every week and it calls my name.

While we were there, they played a song my grandmother used to sing and it brought me to tears,

Across the alley from the Alamo Lived a pinto pony and a Navajo Who sang a sort of Indian "Hi-de-ho" To the people passin' by The pinto spent his time a-swishin' flies And the Navajo watched the lazy skies And very rarely did they ever rest their eyes On the people passin' by One day, they went a walkin' along the railroad track They were swishin' not a-lookin' Toot! Toot!, they never came back Oh, across the alley from the Alamo When the summer sun decides to settle low A fly sings an Indian "Hi-de-ho"
To the people passing by
